Silence Deletion Sound

To mute the sound associated with many deletions, follow these steps:

• Open the Sound control panel using one of these methods:
  • Use Windows 11 > Start > Settings > System > Sound > More Sound Settings
  • Use Windows 10 > Start > Settings > System > Sound > Sound control panel
  • In Windows 10 search for and then open Change system sounds control panel
  • In earlier Windows open Control Panel > Sound
• In the Sound dialogue select the Sounds tab
• In Program EventsEvents are things that happened to an Individual and Attributes are things that described them. select Window > Exclamation and set its Sounds below to (None)
