The TextPad Gedcom Syntax File allows a GEDCOM file to be spell-checked and the Family Historian extensions (user-defined tags) highlighted.
You will need to set up a TextPad Class for GEDCOM (*.ged) before proceeding; see the Textpad Editor TextPad Help for instructions on how to do this.
To highlight the ƒh extensions, set Keyword 3 and Keyword 4 colours to different colours than Keywords 1 & 2 (e.g. red), to highlight the ƒh extensions.
The download file should be unzipped & extracted as gedcom.syn into the C:/Program Files (x86)/TextPad/Samples directory on a 64-bit computer (since TextPad is a 32-bit program), or C:/Program Files/TextPad/Samples directory on a 32-bit computer.
