This query seeks to identify all those individuals who were, or may have been, born after an entered Cut Off Date, and who are, are estimated to be, or who might be, still alive. It is primarily intended to be used to identify candidate individuals for the ‘Living’ flag.
The approach taken is deliberately cautious; the query identifies anyone who might possibly still be alive, based solely on the information & settings in the ƒh file. Certain ƒh Estimated Dates are used, where no explicit dates are posted and the Estimated Date can be calculated. Estimated Dates are calculated using the Average and Maximum lifespans set in the TOOLS > PREFERENCES > ESTIMATES tab, and based on any explicit dates in the Individual in question, or calculated from their immediately close relatives where this is not available.
