| Title | Avoid duplicated common ancestors in Ancestor Reports |
| Category | Reports |
| Description | It is possible for an individual to be descended from the same couple (or individual) more than once. In an Ancestors by Generation Narrative Report or Ancestor Outline Report that scenario will result in the same ancestral branch being repeated. Instead, there should be a cross-reference from the repeated ancestors to their earlier entries in the report and the remainder of that repeated ancestral branch omitted. The cross-references can use the reference or Ahnentafel numbers against each individual. |
