| Description | This request is to improve the support for a pre-selected Source Record when using both the Automatic Source Citation and Add Citation > New dialogues. 'Auto Source Citation' Background: In FH V5, if a Source Record was selected, then invoking the menu item for Tools > Set Auto Source Citation, brought up a window with the selected Source-Record already selected. The user "only" needed to add Entry Date, Where within Source, etc, to enable the automatic source citation. In FH V6, this "pre-selection" of the highlighted Source Record has been lost. Instead, after selecting Tools > Set Auto Source Citation (or the Auto Source Citation button), one must find the Source Record again through one of several methods such as the drop-down source-title list or the option "Find Source Record ..." on the cog-menu. The latter option is especially infuriating as (1) the Source Record has already been found and (2) the window brought up is similar but smaller than the Records Window and thus more difficult to work with. 'Auto Source Citation' Proposal: The FH V5 method of pre-selecting the Source Record be reintroduced (it is hard to imagine why it was deliberately removed?). 'Auto Source Citation' Other Possibilities: Right-click on a Source Record to enter it as the selected source in an already displayed yellow Auto Source Citation pane. and/or A menu item and/or tool-bar button to carry out the same functionality as the right-click described above. 'Add Citation > New' Proposal: If a Source Record is pre-selected, or is selected in the Add Citation dialogue, then the New button shall open the New Source Record dialogue with its fields populated from the selected Source Record.
