| Title | Show 'end of Branch' siblings vertically |
| Category | Diagrams |
| Description | Where a family had lots of children in each generation, and you want to
see your descendant's siblings but not have them stretch across the screen or page, in handwritten versions of a family tree you can get around this by putting the siblings in a list. It would be great if the Chart could also be condensed down this way as needed. For Family Tree Chart add an option that allows you to have the leaf nodes in the chart displayed as lists rather than as the standard boxes (this could be at chart level or for each node). A leaf node is a person at the bottom of the family tree with no further descendants (or whose descendants are not being shown). eg. children with no descendents are shown as a list under their parents, or where you have chosen not to display their children by using the + / - option on that person's descendants. |
