Arising from (but not dependent on) my wish list item "Narrative Reports, Elaboration of it would be nice to be able to record and identify a married name (possibly these days for either men or women), not just as any old alternative name, but specifically as the name relating to this marriage. If used in any context (particularly in narrative reports, possibly also in queries), where not defined this would be assumed to be the previous name for a husband, and the wife's forenames and husband's surname for the wife (assuming a marriage event, not just a family, exists). |
