Set default browser (How To)
When none of the internet options work and produce a message like "Could not Locate, or failed to open an Internet browser"
This is normally because your computer does not have a default browser set, which can happen when a browser has been installed and then removed, among other reasons.
If you normally use IE, you can go into Internet options on the Control Panel, then select the Programs Tab, tick the box to tell IE to see if it's the default browser, click OK and then start IE and tell it to be the default browser when it asks.
For Firefox 2.0 the process is similar.
To make Firefox your default web browser, select Tools > OptionsEdit > PreferencesFirefox > Preferences and click the Check Now button in the Main panel.
