Question about Export Gedcom plugin

Post by laz_gen »

I am using the Export Gedcom plugin to generate my gedcoms for my TNG website and would like to improve the output of one custom fact.

I have a fact called "Marriage Witness" that works OK within FH recording the names of witnesses to a marriage.

When I use the plugin to export a gedcom the text "Attribute Value:" is added into output and it doesn't look exactly as I would like it.

I have tried to change various settings within the plugin but not yet managed to remove this extra text. I could always do a Search & Replace on the Gedcom before upload to remove all instances but was wondering if a certain combination of settings within the plugin will achieve the same result.

You are absolutely correct and a Family Custom Attribute such as your Marriage Witness should put the value on the same line as the 1 EVEN tag.
Sorry, that is a bug that was spotted by another user, that is fixed, but not yet published.
Try the attached Export Gedcom File Plugin Version 3.9.1 Date 22 Oct 2019 ZIP file that must be extracted before installing.
