Custom Report Types are derived from\u00a0Standard Report Types<\/a> by using the Report > Save Report as > Custom Report Type<\/a> command or the Save Report As…<\/em> button in the righthand pane. They are displayed via the Publish > Custom Reports<\/a> menu, and behave just like their original Standard Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n A Custom Report Type preserves the Report > Report Options<\/a> dialogue settings for future use. It does NOT preserve the selection of included records. To preserve such record sets use Named Lists<\/a>.<\/p>\n See\u00a0Downloads ~ Reports<\/a> for some predefined Custom Reports.<\/p>\n From version onwards, there is also the capability to create totally customised reports via Lua. examples can be downloaded form the Plugin Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n It is recommended that Standard Report Types<\/a> retain their Installation Settings<\/em> and any customisations are always saved in Custom Report Types.
