The most likely cause for a missing dialog is that previously you have had different screen resolutions, or used multiple screens in a different configuration, and the dialog is being shown off the visual screen area.<\/p>\n

The simplest way to correct the problem is to reset all dialogs to the default location.<\/p>\n

Calico Pie have a small script file which can be downloaded and run to reset all the window settings.<\/p>\n

Do the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Close Family Historian and double check that there are no other instances of Family Historian running.<\/li>\n
  2. Download\u00a0https:\/\/support.calico-pie.com\/downloads\/fhResetWinPos.bat<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Open Windows File Explorer for your Downloads folder<\/li>\n
  4. Right click on fhResetWinPos.bat (you might not see the .bat depending on your settings, and select “Run as Administrator”<\/li>\n
  5. Follow the on screen instructions.<\/li>\n
  6.
