Introduction<\/h2>\n

If you select only one\u00a0Individual Record\u00a0before viewing an\u00a0Ancestors Diagram, or\u00a0Ancestors & Descendants Diagram, or\u00a0All Relatives Diagram\u00a0then the\u00a0Ancestors\u00a0of only that person are displayed in the\u00a0Diagram.<\/p>\n

Often it is preferable to display the\u00a0Ancestors\u00a0of both partners in a\u00a0Family\u00a0couple, but it is not immediately obvious how to achieve that, especially for new users.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

There are at least three methods to display all Family Ancestors.<\/p>\n

Select Family Record<\/h2>\n

The simplest method is to use the Focus Window and select the blue marriage bar running across below the couple before selecting your diagram type.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Alternatively, you can select a family record, using the Records Window, however, your Records Window by default, may not have the Families tab displayed.<\/p>\n
