Ancestry holds one of the largest collections of world wide genealogy records. There are several national Ancestry websites, but they all offer access to the same database using similar search filter dialogues. All searches are free, and a few record details are free, but most record details & images require a subscription, which varies according to the national website and the record collections chosen.
Many UK public libraries subscribe to Ancestry UK making it free for members.
The Lookup Missing BMD Records and Lookup Missing Census Facts Plugins assist in searching Ancestry for missing Birth/Baptism, Marriage, Death/Burial and Census records.
Ancestry online trees are supported by the Export Gedcom File Plugin.
