Auto-Text Template (Rich Text) - Marriages issue

Nick

I've had this problem for a while now (sorry, can't remember when it first occurred) but have only just had the time to sit down and try to determine what is wrong.

In essence, the autotext for Marriage Witnesses (and other Associated Individuals) is not being shown with colour text for the title and black text for the details (see bottom of screenshot below) - this applies regardless of whether I use "Individual in file" or "Just a name ....". At first I thought this was an issue with my [Custom] templates (I have made minor changes to a number of the supplied templates), but once I started to investigate I found that the issue also applies when the [Built-in] templates are used. None of the {ASSOCLIST...} keywords have any {RTF....} RichStyle codes associated with them so I'm guessing (?) these must get applied directly by your code.

Hi Brent

Sorry about that. Another user reported this to me in April and it is fixed in the next version of AS, whenever that appears. The problem only appears because you don't use the option to display individuals with hyper-links. I expect most people who use rich text use this feature which is why it hasn't been reported more often.

As discussed in a thread earlier in the year, I can't currently release AS updates because of the costs involved. I expect I will do so eventually when I'm ready, but am putting this off until I have a more significant update to release.

Best wishes

Nick

Thanks Nick - at least I'm not missing something!. I tend to add Marriages in batches so it's a fairly easy process to just step through newly created Source records in FH and correct this, but I'll also have a look at the hyperlinks and how they flow through to Gedsite.
