Hi,
I'm just delving in to AS and wanting to check if I'm using it correctly and have a few small questions. I've added the essentials templates in FH7 but made no other modifications to templates etc.
So as an example I have a death certificate that I'm entering which is generally fine. However it has additional details that could be linked to other facts/events also. In particular, the death certificate also shows:
- Marriage details (date, place, spouse)
- Surviving (and in lesser detail, deceased) children and ages
- Burial/Cremation details
Would I need to edit the death template to include (or link existing) facts to this source? Or would I manually link a fact to this same source in FH7 after entry?
Or how should I be handling these in general? It doesn't seem like I should be adding a marriage source, death source and burial source from the same document?
Thanks!

Re: AS additional facts
In the end, it's up to you. But I tend link the source to additional facts (using copy/paste) once it's in FH.
Others may have different advice.

Re: AS additional facts
I tend to agree with Teresa. A.S. can only do so much. In the end, squeezing the last bit of info out of one's data is still a manual process.

Don't overlook 'Auto Source Citations' as an alternative to copy and paste is some circumstances it is a lot easier.
