My sentence as shown in the property box is different from the sentence shown in a report.
My sentence template:
{%CUR_PRIN.NAME:FIRST%} <and {=FieldText(Witness(%FACT%,"Principal 2"),'INDI.NAME:FIRST')}> had {note} children
The sentence from the property box:
William and Mercy had no children.
The sentence from the Individual Narrative Report:
William and Mercy had no.Children.
I assume there is something incorrect with my sentence template.
But the second problem - the sentence in the property box is different than the report.
Does this happen often? Or is it just because my template is not correct?
Linda

Re: Sentence different from property box & report
Linda, that is a 'known fault' in FH that has been discussed before.
There is nothing wrong with your Sentence Template. It is some odd side-effect of the {note} code.
See Fact definitions & unwanted carriage returns (19695) that discussed the same problem.
The user reported the problem to CP.
It had a workaround which is to replace {note} with < {%FACT.NOTE2%}>

Thanks, it worked. But not until I fiddled with the report options, which you had mentioned. I guess the checkbox 'include event attr/notes' means those notes that are not identified in the sentence templates.
Thank you - this solves lots of problems.

Yes, the checkbox 'Include event attr/notes' means those notes not included in the sentence templates using {note} but does not extend to those included using {%FACT.NOTE2%} so such Notes can get included twice.
