settings: focus window and property box split

Post by Ron Melby » 06 Apr 2021 14:33

another hdd failure and backup fail...

somehow, I had it set up so that my focus window was split almost equally with the property box and the underlying focus window only occupied half the screen

I had focus window left, property box right and the focus window 'sized' itself so that it was all visible and did not underlie the property box.

how do I do it?

Try Window > Tile Vertically.

Ron, I suspect the Property Box is currently 'floating' over the Focus Window, whereas previously you had it 'docked' to the right of the Focus Window.
So click the Dock Property Box button, which is the square icon to the right of the Property Box toolbar next to the cog Icon.
