Is it possible to enter fractions in text in Family Historian v6.2.7, e.g. when entering values as £ s d to include halfpenny and farthing? If so, how do I do this? This would be in the notes and in a custom fact.
Thanks for any advice on this

Re: Entering Fractions
Ok, sorry I've found out how to do this - by opening the properties menu, choosing character map then select the required character, copy and paste where required.

Re: Entering Fractions
There is an even quicker method.
Hold down the / key until a list of fractions appears, then select the required character.

Re: Entering Fractions
You can enter a few simple fractions just using the keyboard, but you will need to have a numeric keypad found to the right of your traditional qwerty keyboard (i.e. they don't work with the row of numbers at the top of a keyboard)
Just hold down your ALT key when typing in the following on the numeric keypad:
0188 gives ¼ (a quarter)
0189 gives ½ (a half)
0190 gives ¾ (three quarters)
If you need any other fraction then you are best using the methods already outlined above.
