* web browser is not supported

When attempting to use the internet tool, a box says your web browser is not supported and to upgrade or download a new browser (it has a few to choose from). I use Chrome which is up to date and is also one of the browser suggested. Please help!

The FH internal Web Window only supports later versions of Internet Explorer (IE).

Windows Vista and other early Windows variants only support early versions of IE.
Do you know which version of Windows you use and which version of IE?

Depending on your answers it may be possible to fix the problem with a Plugin.

Otherwise you must alwasy use an external browser.

You originally mentioned the "internet tool", by which I assume you mean the Internet > Open Web Search Window command.

To review the Internet Explorer Shell actually used by FH proceed as follows:

1. Download the Write Reg IE Shell Version from the Plugin Store.
2. Use Tools > Plugins, select Write Reg IE Shell Version, and click Run.
3. Does it say the Internet Explorer Shell Version is anything less than 11?
4. If so, then set it to 11 but note the advice about running FH with Run as administrator selected beforehand, otherwise the change may not take effect.
5. Run the Plugin again to double-check the Internet Explorer Shell Version has been changed.
6. Check the Internet > Open Web Search Window command now works OK.
