FH Novapdf malfunction

Post by drathgen » 08 Oct 2017 05:24

For several times I have tried to get FH PDF to print out via Adobe pdf - every other time has been no problem, but now FH Nova refuses to believe or else Adobe refuses to believe that FH Novapdf is a legitimate device, and Adobe is my default viewer. What am I missing here?

Your Nova looks fine, when you click on OK does the file not get created where you say? Do you get another error?

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling Nova as detailed here:

You had a very similar problem before in Save Diagram as .pdf in Win10 (12863).
That was caused by the DPI being set so high that the PDF file was invalidly large.

I notice your screenshot has DPI 2400, which in the previous posting was unacceptable, but when reduced to 1200 was OK.

If you use default 300 DPI does the problem go away?

Many thanks I had forgotten I had the same issue previousy. Yes the resolution with FH Nova pdf 2400 does not convert to Adobe pdf; the highest value that does work is at 1200dpi, certainly from 300 dpi upwards to max 1200. Once it is in Adobe then the quality can be further upgraded should that be necessary. Cheers, very happy now.
