I've included one image where the birth sentence is exactly as I want it - image with the living person's info crossed out.
Another image shows there is definitely notes in the section but they do not appear in the sentence area.
The other two images show there is a sentence there but there are no notes that relate to what it's written. (Granted the sentence is correct - but I can't find where it got the information from) (OK i did have 2 images but apparently I can't attach more than 3 images the other image simply showed the "Note" tab to show that sentence was not in there either)
I have found this similar circumstance on other things but I usually just go delete the fact & redo it, however due to my great grandmother's note that is correct but it's not written anywhere I'd like to figure out why it's there in case I find similar situation later.
Thanks for any help how to solve this &/or reason the program is doing this.

Re: Not all birth sentences are appearing
It's possible to edit the sentences directly in the sentence box. If you click in to the sentence box on the property box, it will show if it's including a note, or if a note has been typed directly into the sentence box. You can also check this on the all tab.

[Edit: Jane beat me to it!]
Hi Kylie,
You have probably edited the sentence on a case by case basis for some of these individuals. Any editing done in the Individual's Property Box will apply only to that Individual and will leave the global fact definition unchanged. In Bertha's case, if you click the the mouse in the Sentence field I think you will see that you have entered the extra text there instead of in the note field. In Stephanie's case you have probably deleted {note} from the template.

Re: Not all birth sentences are appearing
There is absolutely no doubt that the explanations given by Jane and Lorna are correct.
The background colour of the Sentence box is the clue.
If that colour is beige, as in your 'correct' example, then it is using the Fact Definition ~ Sentence Template.
If the colour is white, as in your other examples, then it is using a local Template in the Sentence box itself.
See how_to:narrative_report_fact_sentence_templates|> Narrative Report Fact Sentence Templates under Specific Fact Sentences for a fuller explanation.

Re: Not all birth sentences are appearing
Of all the things for me not to notice - the colour of the actual sentence box.
And yes the sentence for Bertha had been typed directly into the sentence box.
I probably should have stated this is/was my mother's program and I am just trying to take on where left off (passed June 2019) and I was trying to tidy up the database.
Thank you all so much for the help
