Hi, is it possible to copy FH6 onto a USB as Read Only. So as to share my tree with my family.
Thank You.

Re: Read Only
No, sorry, that is not possible, and also would violate the licence terms.
Anyway, your family would have to learn to use FH.

There are other ways to share your family tree:
- Send Diagrams &/or Reports or a Book in PDF format on USB stick.
- Use Publish > Make a Family Tree CD/DVD and put that on USB stick.
See how_to:make_family_tree|> Make a Family Tree CD/DVD or Website - Use Export Gedcom File Plugin and upload the GEDCOM file to an online website such as Ancestry, FindMyPast or ZoomPast.

Don’t know answer to your question, but have you thought of using FH to create a website on your stick?
All you need then is a browser to view details.

You don't have to put a website online -- you can put it on a USB stick and view it locally with a browser.

Re: Read Only
Create a pdf of a relevant diagram and share the pdf as an email attachment. Diagram menu > Save Diagram As > PDF.
