OK, I don't think this can be done but I'll ask anyway.
I'm just looking at the Timeline Facts listing for a person and I see entries like "Birth of Son Harold".
I wonder, is it possible to modify that entry so that it shows the place of Birth, in this case Belfast? So the entry would say "Birth of Son Harold in Belfast".
I ask because an Aunt and Uncle of mine had some children born in USA and some born in Belfast and it would be useful to see that information in the Timeline Facts listing of each parent.
Thanks.

No, the timeline facts show only dates.
However if you work with diagrams and include the place of birth in the text scheme you can easily see the children’s birth places in sequence across the diagram.
Alternatively there is a plugin by Mike Tate called Quick Family Facts which displays a pop-up summary of close relatives & events for any chosen person.

Thanks Lorna. I'll look into your suggestions.

It depends how 'important' seeing that information is for you. For some extra work there is a way to achieve that.JohnB47 wrote: ↑01 Aug 2024 19:17 I'm just looking at the Timeline Facts listing for a person and I see entries like "Birth of Son Harold".

For a child's Birth Fact add each parent as a Witness.
Change the Witness Sentence to your desired format. (Tools: Fact Type: Edit: Witness Roles: Roles: Edit: Advanced: Summary Template (e.g. for Facts tab Listings)
That sentence format will give altered output in the Individual Timeline Report and the Individual Timeline Query.
It is important to me, so this is my practice.

Oh that's interesting. Although I'm not sure when you say "That sentence format will give altered output in the Individual Timeline Report and the Individual Timeline Query".
It's the Timeline view (or list), for an Individual, that I would like to alter, not in a Report or Query.
It's not so much that it's important - more useful to see in that timeline listing.
Thanks.

What I have written above will affect the Individual's Property Box, Facts Tab listing.
However, making customisations in FH can often have a knock-on effect elsewhere. So making this sentence customisation will cause change in any Individual Timeline Query or Report that you generate. It is easier to understand via experimentation. Set up a Child Birth/Parent Witness for just one person, and compare with others with the default setting. N.B. Use the FH Sample project for experimentation purposes.
With the default settings and Show Timeline Facts activated, the whole Fact will appear in the Facts Tab listing so you can view all the known information, although not in the Facts Tab listing sentence.
(I have made such customisations partially For Facts Tab listing purposes but more specifically because I use a custom Query using the Function =TimelineFactText. If the information is 'witnessed' my customised sentence is used, if not the default Timeline Fact Text is used. I save the Result Set of that Query to create a document outside of FH.)
