Show Focus Window Hints in Query

Post by Little.auk »

I have FMP hints set and the Focus Window shows how many record links there are for each person - for example as in the image below. Is there any way of displaying this information in a Query?

Those 'hints' only appear dynamically in the boxes currently shown in the Focus Window.
So they are not available via a Query for everybody else in the Project because they are not a static set of data.

However, there are two plugins that offer an alternative way of finding similar online records and not just for FMP.
  1. Lookup Missing Census Facts
  2. Lookup Missing BMD Records
They support Ancestry, FindMyPast, FamilySearch, and MyHeritage and let you choose which Individuals to research.

Thanks Helen and Mike,

I have used the Plugins. I also have a query that exports to Excel and gives me a table that shows missing BMD census records. I was looking to create a query to give a simple 'To Do' listing of ancestors with new / un-viewed 'hint' records appearing in FMP.
