HI there
I've looked through the Help and cannot find the answer! ( Newbie here)
When I select all relatives my GF Keresztely and his spouse Eva are repeated to their respective left and right to fit in with their siblings. Is this normal?
It's not what I would like it to look like...
sincere regards

Re: Why are these dashed boxes appearing?
Hello, welcome to FHUG.
These boxes are called 'Proxy' boxes and only ever appear in All Relatives diagrams. They are used to help show where an ancestor fits into his or her family of siblings. In a fairly small diagram they are often not really necessary but in some very wide diagrams where the ancestor's main box is a very long way from their siblings it helps to make things clearer.
The proxy boxes don't have to be displayed. In the Daigram Options > Proxies tab you can choose whether, or in what conditions, you want to have them included.
If you search the FH Help files for "Diagram Options Dialog: Proxies Tab" you will find more detailed explanation and guidance.
