How many sources have you created with Ancestral Sources?
Just for the fun of it - have you created a lot of sources with AS? I'd love to know how many sources you can estimate that AS has generated for you (include my previous Gedcom Census in the count if applicable).
You can see how many sources you have in Family Historian by going to File->File Statistics and then from that guestimate how many of those sources were made with AS.

I would guestimate that about 1200 - 1500 of my sources are from using AS.
Bill
Edit: That is from a total of 3300 sources.

Re: How many sources have you created with Ancestral Sources?
I have 2,423 Source Records and 2,000+ have been created with AS. I seem to recall that 1200+ where created when I moved from TMG and decided to remove all the census entries and replace them with the help of AS to get consistency in my project. The remainder have been created over the last 8 years.

2071 Census sources created by AS. I have a total of 4368 sources in my project.
(I only use AS for censuses. I developed my own workflow for dealing with other types of data back in the days when AS was 'Gedcom Census' and only handled census data!)

I currently have 48,107 sources, and I would estimate that all bar 107ish were created using AS.
I still have well over 15000 census sources that need converting to Rich text tables
On top of that there are many 1000's of citations to redo from when I used method 2 style recording (With or without images)
I also periodically review my existing 1939 register entries to update the images that have been redacted

All of my sources so far....
As a side question for John....
I assume I may be asking a question that is in a forum somewhere but how do you efficiently update the 1939 registers that were previously redacted please? Is this through AS?

Re: How many sources have you created with Ancestral Sources?
There are several ways to update the 1939 entry. Probably the easiest way is to rename the old image record (And update the filename) and also the source record (I add the word OLDE to both) and then delete them. and process the updated image as a new image and new source.

Zero.
I have 26 sources in FH. I created them all (census) manually in FH. None were created by AS.

That's because you are a 'lumper' (method 2) user. You definitely won't win the prize for most sources

Only just picked up on this Nick. I probably have 1500 on my main tree, but I have 56 other trees. (I do a lot of research for other people. I would guess on average 200 on each of these. It adds up to a lot.
Many thanks Nick for you programme.
