I am familiar with NGSQ [National Genealogical Society Quarterly] formatting for printing a 'report' for descendants of an individual. I printed a report and all the children were shown as members of a family. After that they were again shown individually.
How can I change the format to only show families?

I think you are referring to Publish > Narrative Reports > Descendants by Generation.
There are not any Options to change the report layout in the way you request.

Have you considered using Publish > Family Group Sheet?

Please post a screenshot of the report showing the problem and explain how you would like it changed.

Another option is Publish > Outline Reports > Descendant Outline. Each person is listed only once, but it might not provide the 'family' grouping you require.
