I've just realised that, since the beginning of the month, when saving images in AS after completing an entry I'm no longer getting the option to have the file saved to the project media folder. So when checking in FH, rather than the linked file path being, for example -
Media\BROOKSusannah_b1838_1839Baptism.tif
it shows as -
C:\Users\sue_h\OneDrive\Documents\Genealogy\SUE\People\01 HALL\01 HALL\BMD\Deaths\HALLJosephWilliam_b1855_1922DeathCertificate.tif
I haven't knowingly changed any settings, indeed on trying to find a way to correct the problem I'm unable to find a way to restore the option. Would the best plan be to do a re-install of AS?

Do not re-install AS.
See AS not saving source files in correct place (22211) which I suspect covers the problem.

Thank you Mike, that's done the trick.

Further to this issue, whilst it seemed that Mike's reply resolved my problem, once I ticked the box to Remember my response for this project & not ask again, the problem resumed ie, images are no longer saved to the media folder. Does anyone else see this?

I've spent some time testing this evening and it seemed to all be working as expected. Then I realised that you appear not to use sub-folders within your Media folder and so are probably using the 'Project Media' option rather than the default 'Choose Folder' option:
I can confirm that remembering the setting doesn't seem to work if that option is chosen. Apologies for that Sue, I expect it is not an option that many people use. I'll fix that for the next version. Some users are currently testing the next version - I'll aim to produce another version to test with this problem fixed very soon which you could choose to use or you may prefer to leave the 'remember' setting unticked for now until I release it properly.
Thanks for reporting this and apologies again for the inconvenience.

Re: AS - Option to save images to project media folder
Hello again Sue
I think the latest test version of AS should deal with this correctly now if you want to try it:
Ancestral Sources Beta Testing v7.8.6
Best wishes

Re: AS - Option to save images to project media folder
Many thanks for your time Nick. You're correct that I don't use sub-folders in my Media folder. I don't quite know why, probably because years ago, when I first began using AS, I just stuck with the default settings. All my media files are also stored on my hard drive & those are set up in sub-folders so I suppose it would make sense to do the same thing in the Project Media folder.
Thanks again for your help & suggestions.
