I have all Decendants Chart and saved it as PDF, can"t find it now. should I have saved as Gedcom instead? I want to take it to printers thought pdf was the way to go? Thanks in advance

No pdf is the way to do this.

Have you tried searching for the file by date rather than name?

What I do in situations like this, is to start to save it again, and see where it will be saved to. Then abandon the save and go to the location.

Unless you changed the location it will have been saved in the Public folder of your Project, you can open the folder from the Project Windows more tasks button once you have selected your Project.

Follow up question.
When saving anything as a PDF, the PDF Dialogue box opens annoyingly every time at Top Left of my very wide screen!
Is there any way to change this so that selected position sticks (ideally in centre of screen)?
