Export Gedcom v5.3 - Crashes

Post by quarlton »

Hi
I'm writing on behalf of a friend.
She has just upgraded from v5.2 to v5.3

Using v5.2 it ran fine, but v5.3 gives the error message shown below
OS: Windows 10 Pro
FH: v6.2

I personally can run v5.3 on Windows 11, using the same gedcom and get no problems.

Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

Sorry about that Dave.
I suspect your friend may be running FH V6.2 or earlier.
One of the new features I added to Export Gedcom File v5.3 does not work with older FH versions. Sorry.
That is my mistake, so let me think about the best workaround.

The Export Gedcom File plugin Version 5.4 Date 13 Apr 2023 is now in the Plugin Store and fixes the problem your friend was experiencing. Sorry about my mistake.
