In the article Family Historian Licence Problems, in the section Mislaid Licence Details or Software Download it says:
If you purchased the latest Full Licence download and have mislaid the Software Download, then download and install the Family Historian Version 6 Free Trial and enter your Licence Name & Registration Key when requested.
Shouldn't this actually refer to the Version 7 Free Trial?

Re: Family Historian Licence Problems
Despite that article saying it applies to FH version 7, it does not cover FH V7 at all.
Bill, there is no such thing as the FH V7 Free Trial download.
All FH V7 installs use the same https://www.family-historian.co.uk/install7 download with an appropriate CP account username, password, and licence.

Sorry, I hope I didn't confuse the poster in the other thread, Fresh Install (20763), . Maybe my reply should be deleted?
I think that article in the knowledge base needs to be more clear that it doesn't apply to FH 7. Not just removing the FH 7 designation at the top, but also putting in some text to highlight the fact.
So if one were to download the free trial it would be FH 6?

Re: Family Historian Licence Problems
Bill, see https://www.family-historian.co.uk/install7 that links to https://www.family-historian.co.uk/down ... -day-trial for how to get the FH V7 trial licence.
Essentially, the article simply needs to refer to https://www.family-historian.co.uk/install7 for FH V7 licence problems as that FH article and linked articles deal with all the issues.
