I have a copy of V3 on CD and a netbook with no cd. If I download an upgrade V3 to V4 I will no doubt get a license number. Can that number be used if I then download the 30 day V4 version to the netbook to then make it a genuine copy?

Upgrading V3 CD to v4 on Netbook
Calico Pie enabled me to buy a full downloaded copy of V4 for the difference between the price for the upgrade (which I'd already bought) and the price of the full licence. I had to provide them with proof of purchase for the upgrade.
This route made more sense to me than buying an external drive for the netbook as I have no other software to put on the netbook that needed a CD.
