Is there a way to add Keywords to batches of multimedia rather than individually?

Not in FH, I did start a tool to do mine I have not had time to perfect it yet though, it just picks up the directory names and adds them as keywords.
Would that help at all if I get time to polish it?

Gerry, you can download a version from
http://files.getdropbox.com/u/1367679/FHKeywords.exe
PLEASE NOTE: This is rough software.
MAKE BACKUPS and check the file with a validate.
It's designed to be used with Project media, by default it adds keywords for every directory in the media path.
You can edit them on the second wizard page.
If there you have any problems or want extra features, let me know and I will consider them.

Jane,
Thanks very much. I've given it a trial and now I will do it for real! Seems to do the job but requires a few manual tweaks. For example, where I have mixed media in one folder: such as all the photos and miscellaneous docs for one person. However, it saves an awful lot of work.

I've written a work-in-progress FH5 Plugin 'Keyword Update' which is available from the FHUG Knowledge Base:
