Does anyone have any advice on creating a CD for family and friends to view my family history?
Any quick solutions or good programmes that you know that will assist me to create without too much technical expertise. I suppose that I am looking for the type that provide web pages with all of the hyperlinks - but I do not have the technical knowledge or time to spend making one.
Is the Create shareable CD in Family Tree Maker any good?
Thanks.

You can of course use GedMill (or similar) to create web pages and simply burn the resulting folders on to a CD. There are lots of free Autorun programs to drop on to a CD to launch an index.html from a CD rather than the web.

You could always order a copy of Family Historian version 3 due out in January.
Go to http://www.family-historian.co.uk/whats_new_in_3.htm and look at item 12 in the contents list entitled 'Shareable CD output'.

Just to note, if you need a CD before version 3 of FH is available, that GEDMill Pro 1.6 creates autorun CD's automatically.[smile]
