Re: Weekly email of forum topics
Yes, it looks like the batch process glitched and it was restarted by the Web server. I am afraid we may have to live with it, as it has not happened for many weeks, if it becomes a regular occurrence I will need to put in some sort of tracking mechanism to save me having to pay Amazon SES twice for the messages.

And again (timed 08:10 & 08:16)! Anyone else get two copies today?

Two copies of the email again today (same times as a last time).

Two copies for me, too.
Re: Weekly email of forum topics
I've received 2 copies again about 6 minutes apart.
It doesn't really matter to me, but if FHUG is paying on a "per email" basis it could be a waste of money.

I have just received two copies of the email, approximately 6 minutes apart.

Re: Weekly email of forum topics
If it helps, I looked at the email headers and they were sent from two different Amazon data centres - the first one from Ashburn, Virginia and the second from Seattle, Washington.
From the time stamps they were sent six minutes apart, and both to the same email address.

Re: Weekly email of forum topics
This happens occasionally, I am not sure if it is a Amazon thing, as I can't see any errors on our server and the logs look fine, eg people are not listed twice. I use Amazon to send them as our TOS for the web server frowns on sending bulk emails.

Jane, on a different but related subject is there any option to change the subject line of this digest?

Re: Weekly email of forum topics
That is not the subject it is the email it is sent from. I would need to reconfigure all the Amazon services to change the email, so no.

Understood, small problem and not worth the bother.
