I have noticed recently that the option icons on each posting have been changing (using Firefox).
Most times they are the familiar row of icons :-
pad & pen (Edit post), dustbin (Delete post), thumbs down (Warn user), i in disc (Information), quotes (Reply with quote).
But sometimes they morph into a single 'hamburger' of three horizontal lines that when clicked offer :-
Edit, Delete post, Warn user, Information, Quote in a drop-list.
Has anyone else experienced that?
I think it is a backward step, because if the user is unfamiliar with English there is no icon to give a clue.

Re: Topic Post Menu Option Icons
I have not changed anything so other than it being a narrow screen / mobile menu which normally have the three line icon (like the quick links one but with one less line.)

Nothing has changed this end except for the routine updates to Firefox.
Same size screen, same size fonts, etc, so it is a mystery.

I use Firefox and have not had this problem. Just updated to Firefox 52.0.1 and still OK.

Using Safari on an Ipad, I don't see nuffink, apart from the three bars next to quicklinks!

No Mike that is a different drop-list if you check the options I have listed.
I am talking about the options when for example you view this topic and wish to edit/delete your posting or quote another one.

Mike,
I don't use Firefox, but have not seen this in Chrome. Any chance you have an extension or add-on that might be interfering in some way?

Re: Topic Post Menu Option Icons
No, I have not added anything to Firefox for a long while.
It does not happen every time, but mostly happens when I open a Forum and then open a Topic in a new tab.
I think I have found the culprit.
I have used the popular NoScript add-on to block unwanted URL for years.
I had sumo.com and sumome.com blocked.
I have now allowed them and the problem has vanished, but no idea why they interfere in that way.
