Default Source Citation Entry Date

Post by eintracht »

When entering a source citation for a Fact/Event/Individual etc. could the Entry Date have an option to default to today's date? It would be very useful not having to type in today's date every time I enter a new Source Citation when using Automatic Source Citations is not applicable.
I did a search for Source Citation Entry Date and this has not been covered.
Thanks
Chris

It was discussed recently here Insert today's date (17810) where the purpose of Entry Date is explained.

This seems to be a duplicate of Wish List entry 186: https://fhug.org.uk/wishlist/wldisplay.php?wlwlref=186
