I have been using v3 for many years and have approx 4000 names. How much work is involved in changing to v5? Any comments please

upgrading v3 to v5
There is no work involved as far as the size of your data is concerned, just install a full version of V5 over V3.
However, you would be advised to adopt the Project structure introduced with V4.
This unlocks several FH features that are only available to Projects.
It also makes it much easier to move your database including Multimedia from location to location, PC to PC, and onto CD/pen-drives, without breaking the Multimedia links to files.
See the V5 Help for new users in the Project Window.
