exporting to other devices
Is there a way I can export my file to a flash drive. Also can FH be exported to Ancestry, if so, how do I do this?

Re: exporting to other devices
It partly depends on what you mean "my file" and what you intend to use the USB flash drive for.
Virtually anything produced by FH can be saved to any file storage device, but what do you want to do with it?
Do you just want to save a Project Backup, or to send the GEDCOM, a Diagram, or a Report to somebody?
Please, give us some clues to what you are trying to achieve.
To export to Ancestry, or many other products, there is a well documented process.
However, if exporting to online products such as Ancestry it is important to consider the privacy of living people, etc.
Also, most online, and some other, products do not allow Media image files to be uploaded in bulk.
See how_to:exporting_gedcom_with_multimedia|> Exporting a Family Tree with/without Media especially under Export to Website Without Sensitive Data and study the details of the process. It is quite technical, so you may then have supplemental questions.

Re: exporting to other devices
What I want to achieve is to be able to export everything that I have entered in the FH program
names, birth, marriage and divorce dates etc as well as the graphs and charts to a flash drive so that
I can take it to the library and hopefully get help from the Genealogist to continue with my project. I am
at a standstill now as far as trying to figure out how to create a book, printing out my charts and searching for
more information regarding my ancestors. You have responded to a previous question I asked about printing
charts but I am the type that cannot really understand what I am suppose to do by reading the info. I learn best
by sitting with someone and being showed. I wish there was someone in my area where I can take classes.

Re: exporting to other devices
I presume your PC is a desktop, because if it were a laptop you could simply take it to the library with the FH Project intact.
How many people are in your Project?
FH shows the number of Individuals and Families in the lower right-hand border.
If not too many, then use Publish > Individual Summary Report and select everyone, then Save Report To > PDF File and copy that PDF file to the USB memory stick.
Also produce an All Relatives Diagram based on yourself & partner or some other key couple, then use Diagram > Save Diagram To > PDF File and copy that PDF file to the USB memory stick.
Those two will give the genealogist enough to work with.
If you have an iPad/tablet, then another idea is to export your Project and import it into a genealogy app on the iPad/tablet.
