They (FMP) used (a few years ago) also write to subscribers telling them that their subscriptions were being extended by the same number of days - which I thought was a nice touch.

Seem to have stopped doing so?

Hmmm .. that'll be why the site gave me 'Whoops error 500' notices all afternoon just as I was on a roll with some research. Incredibly frustrating for those of us who have paid. I had to give up and do housework!!!

The Download Image link seems to have disappeared from FMP images as well.

They have posted that they are having technical issues with their site and are working on fixing it.

You can recover the download button by moving to the next, or previous image, then returning, and it works fine. Also, the number of items returned under each heading has gone. Chat seems to have gone as well, probably got fed up with complaints.

I reported the major issue to them yesterday and FMP said they would email me when the problems were fixed, not had anything yet.

Having said that, it seems the above technique works with census records but not WWI service records, very annoying.
