Adams Family

I am researching a family where a number of births resulted in all of the older children being put in Banardos homes and the younger children kept. Many births marriages etc were from Norfolk and later Lambeth & Wandsworth.
I have tried Ancestry and FMP databases with Births marriages and deaths and also the Census of 1901 amd 1911
Freebmd for Henry William Adams birth in 1902 lists Q3 1902 Thetford 4B 240 on inspecting the original from GRO this is digital translation incorrect wrong as the this was a Bristol . I have a marriage which I know is correct as Henry W (William?) Adams marrying Q1 1928 ThetfordB 563 to Gladys Muriel Gertrude Crowe.
I need to find the siblings of Henry . I think I have found 2 of them (there are quite a few more)
I searched the Census of 1911 and found the following:- Henry William Adams b 1904 (actual Q3 1903 Lambeth 1D 292) and Violet Emily Adelaide Adams b 1902 (actual Q2 1902 Kensington 1A 103. Both were being looked after by Henry Christopher Dolton Laxton (head b 1863) at Shouldham Downham Norfolk..both children described as Barnados children Boarder.
The boys mother appeared to be Coombs and the girls to be Lee.
The only way forward to finding the rest of them is to go to the starting point and maybe get the marriage certificate of Henry & Gertrude in 1928 and seeing the father and mothers names. I think there were 9 children.
Very complicated
Any help welcome !!

Aye jsphillips,

Does this link to the LDS website assist you?

Also the following link to the potential marriage of Violet Emily Adelaide Adams to Henry Mee in Downham, Norfolk, England:

Four of my grandmother' cousins were given in to Barnardos in the late 1880's and I stuggled to find them after the 1891 census when they were either in foster homes or in a Barnardos childrens home. I eventually discovered that Barnardo's sold them to the Canadian Government and they were shipped to Canada aged 8 to 12 to work on canadian farms. I found them on the Libraries and Archives Canada site in the Home Children database and then tracked them throught the free Canadian census records on that site.. I believe similar schemes sent children to Australia as well.

Thanks Bill
for the links to LDS site
I already had the the one to Henry. I will pursue the other to Henry Mee.
Mike thanks for your help as well I had not thought about referencing the Kensington Link.
The strange thing is why when marriages were in Norfolk , 2 children both Adams in Barnados care in Norfolk 1 mother Lee one mother Lambeth? and now also the Kensington link.
I will get the marriage certificate of Henry Williams Adams ( one of children) to give father (groom) and mother name (if shown and not blank)
I am doing this for a friend who was told about this from his father and who is ashamed and has thoughts of whether to pursue or not.
There is definitely no link to Banardos sending any of them overseas.
I have this in my own family where I discovered my cousin in Canada.
Thanks again

Just to clarify a couple of points.

When using the GRO Birth Index Search I did NOT filter the District with Kensington.
I searched for every entry with Surname Adams and Mother's Surname Lee for Females.
Then similarly for every entry Surname Adams and Mother's Surname Coombs for Males.
To search all years start at 1915 with +/-2, then repeat for 1910, then 1905, 1900, 1895, etc.
I visually reviewed each entry looking for any in London or Norfolk and only Kensington fitted.

On a UK Marriage Certificate you will only get the Father of the Groom and also the Bride, but NOT the Mother.

Thanks
But I would be able to confirm brides age and her father (if correctly given) as further proof
