Too Many People!

Post by stevef999 »

I've recently started getting an error whenever I select the 1901 census to enter census info. The full error is

'There are too many people to display them all in the list.'

This then grays out the 'show all' box and the 'Find' button meaning that I have to scroll through the list to try and find the person I wish to select. Since there are over 36,660 people in my database this gets old fairly quickly!!

Any ideas?

I'm running Windows 7, Gedcom Census 6.0.9 and Family Historian 4.0.2.

Unfortunately this is a limitation of the list box control that can only contain up to 32,000(ish) entries. I'm writing my entirely new version using .Net controls which don't have this limitation but for now there's nothing I can do sorry.
