Welsh census forms

Post by mezentia »

I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but from 1891 onwards, Welsh census forms also had Language Spoken as an entry. Has anyone altered the templates for these censuses to include this field? I edit the auto text manually at the moment, but with research progressing on a Welsh family branch, this is becoming rather tedious.

Yes, it has, see fhugdownloads:contents:template_census_iom_wales_1901-1911|> Ancestral Sources Template ~ Census Isle of Man & Wales 1901-1911.
From those it should be quite easy to create the 1891 Census Template too.
