How do I get a relationship to a witness

Post by MortimerCat »

I can get a witness vie a role name
The bridesmaid was {role=bridesmaid}.
The bridesmaid was Jane Smith.

I can get the witness relationship to the principal.
{ =Relationship( %CUR~WITN>%, %CUR_PRIN%, TEXT, 1) }
sister

I cannot work out the syntax to get a relationship to a witness

{ =Relationship( %CUR~WITN>%, %ROLE>bridesmaid%, TEXT, 1) }

Please can anyone tell me the correct data reference syntax for a named role.

In other words, you want the relationship between two Witnesses, where one is the current witness and the other is another witness to the same fact with a particular Role.

That is complicated and there is no simple data reference syntax.
