Printing connected People
I'm linking two individuals in my tree who are midway between my oldest and youngest relative. The connection works fine and display's as I require but when I print, additional lines are inserted above and below for the generation that I do not wish to include. How can I omit these and the generation list that is automatically generated?
Re: Printing connected People
If you right-click the diagram and choose Diagram Options, then the Print tab, you should be able to turn these lines off.

Re: Printing connected People
Sorry, but could you give us a few more clues.
I imagine you are using one of the 'generation' reports, but which one?
Who have you chosen as the Subject Person?
How many Generations have you chosen in the Report > Options?
OR perhaps as Adrian has assumed, you are talking about Diagram family trees?
But in that case, I'm not sure what lines you are talking about.
You can use the Diagram > Options to set the number of Generations up & down.

Re: Printing connected People
Thanks for help.
I have attached three screen grabs to illustrate the process I have followed which does produce the results I need, with one exception. The chart still includes the generations (which I don't need) resulting in splitting the chart on two pages.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Printing connected People
If the problem is just that the diagram spreads over two pages that can be solved in various ways. You can change the scale of the diagram and/or adjust its position relative to the page boundaries.
For guidance on how to do this, in the FH Help files index select Diagram Toolbar, then click Display. Scroll down to the section headed Page.

Re: Printing connected People
I think you are talking about the chart after saving it to PDF.
In that case, see FHUG Knowledge Base Single PDF Page of a Diagram.
After choosing Diagram > Save Diagram As > PDF File (.pdf) accept the option Adjust PDF File Page Size so that Diagram fits into One Page then the resulting PDF will almost always contain the whole chart on one page.
If not then the advice in that article under Adjust Diagram Size will help.
However, your chart is tiny compared with what will fit into one PDF page.
