This is better asked of Calico Pie's support desk by raising a ticket at http://support.calico-pie.com/open.php. As members of a User group, we aren't able to diagnose what's going on in their support system.

However, that screenshot shows a user name and not an email address -- what happens if you enter an email address?

Yes, use your Email address in the Email message you received.
Is it possible that somebody else who knows that Email address could have posted a ticket on your behalf?

Hi Mike
I deliberately left the full email off, but did try it in full. Also no one else knows my details to be able to request support as far as I know!! And I dont remeber doing so. Heard nothing more anyway
Thanks Bill

For what its worth, the support ticket I got this week was number 429594 (opened 27 Sept), so I suggest yours might be a bogus/scam, as their support ticket numbers haven't reached that high to date (I am assuming they issue them in order)

It seems very niche to be a scam...

Agreed, but some ‘students’ do it for the challenge. I’ve had a few spoof e-mails from “Paypal” recently, and judging by the headers, originated from a US College, (with a .EDU address) - go figure :D

You can assume nothing from Support Ticket numbers as they are allocated apparently randomly.
Recently I've had #937245, #707181, #587976, #897778, #651306, #483104

BTW: Can this be moved to another Forum as it is not an FH usage topic?

Have you checked your sent box about the time you got that reply?

Bill, presumably the Email you received looked like the text below. Have you tried following its URL http calico-pie link?
That should open the support ticket directly without needing a login.

Billread,

A request for support has been created and assigned ticket #587119. A support agent will follow-up with you as soon as possible.

You can view this ticket's progress online here: http://www.calico-pie.com/osticket/view.php?auth=...
If you wish to send additional comments or information regarding this issue, please don't open a new ticket. Simply login using the link above and update the ticket.

Miketate,
I wouldn’t recommend anyone clicking on any link in an e-mail they are not sure of, as the true url address isn’t always visible to user, and the true url hidden!
What may look like a link to the Calico Pie website, may in fact be some other webiste entirely. If one hovers the mouse over the link, the true Url will be shown, and may turn out to be completely different to what is visible!
