Compact ancestor tree diagram

Post by martinhgregory »

I have downloaded this diagram from the knowledgebase and notice that it has an error. The wife of the 5th generation ancestor, 3rd couple down from the top is shown as his mother rather than his wife!

Anyone else noticed this? Who do I contact to get this corrected?

You are absolutely correct and you can upload a correction yourself.
Use the Knowledge Base > Contribute option to Add/Update a Download.

I've worked out where the error is and how to correct it but when I save the diagram, it seems to be saved as an FHC file in the charts folder of my project.

How do I save it as an FHD/FHDX file and where will it be located?

It sounds like you are saving a local Project FH Saved Chart which contains specifically your chart box details.

You need to use Diagram > Save Diagram As > Custom Diagram Type... and use the Compact Ancestor Tree name.

Then use File > Import/Export > Export > Diagram Type... and select the Compact Ancestor Tree which lets you save the FHDX file wherever you like in preparation for uploading to the KB.
