What records cite a source?

I have some sources that may be redundant. Before I delete them, is there a way to check if any records cite them?

Select the Source in the source list, then Tools > View > Record Links...

If you only want to know if they're in use you can customise the Source Record Window to show the number of Citations for a source (if may be shown as standard -- I can't remember).

I don't see an option to Tools > View > Record Links from the source record.

However, your reply prompted me to look at the menu (cog) icon on the source record and I see an option to "Show Source Record's Citations in Result Window which reports "No citations found for this Source record" which gives me confidence to delete the source record.

Tools > View > Record Links starts from the very top menu.

Is there a report that can list all uncited sources?

As Helen has mentioned, the Sources tab of the Records window has a column showing the number of citations per source. The column is there by default so you don't need to customise the tab, but you may need to scroll to the right, or reduce the width of the first column, to reveal it. Click on the column heading to bring all the sources with no citations to the top of the list.

Lorna - I now see the citations column which I'd not noticed before. I also referred back to Helen's comment and I now understand what she meant by using the "Source Record Window to show the number of Citations"

A word of caution: check Inconsistent reporting of Citations in FH7 (19425) and Beware deleting Source records with 0 Citations (18990) for some gotchas.
