I have come across several of Mike Tate's plugins which automate the process of moving source "Notes" to "Text from source", but none of them seem to do anything under Version 7.
I assume this is a result of changes in Ver 7 and wondered if anyone could advise me how those older plugins should be modified so as to work.
Baby steps please!

Re: Moving source 'Notes' to 'Text From Source'
John, I've moved this to the Plugin Discussions forum.
If you can identify the specific Plugins by name then I can either fix them or explain what needs to be done.
There are several different fixes that are explained in the FHUG Knowledge Base but that is intended for existing Authors so is a bit technical. It depends on what features the Plugin uses as to which fixes are needed.
However, looking through my archive of Plugins I cannot find any that move source Notes to Text From Source.

Mike,
thank you for your prompt response.
The plugins I had come accross which have a bearing on this include:-
download/file.php?id=4050
download/file.php?id=1580
Does this help?

Re: Moving source 'Notes' to 'Text From Source'
Ah! I'd forgotten there were some 'Swap ... ' plugins and was only looking for 'Move ... ' plugins.
As far as I can tell, those two both work OK in FH V7 as nothing has changed regarding the Source Citation data structure.
Can you provide more details of why you think they do nothing.
Maybe the plugins are listed with the State of Disabled although you did not say so.
If so then click the More>> button below to reveal the buttons on the right of the dialogue.
Select each Plugin in turn and click Edit... and OK the message to enabled them.

Re: Moving source 'Notes' to 'Text From Source'
Hi Mike,
I seem to have overcome the problem (which was probably me!).
The second of the two plugins I identified has worked. This is the one which swaps "Text from source" with "Notes".
I suspect that since it did its job so quickly (I am playing with a small database) and does not give notification of completion, I thought nothing had happened and ran it again which, of course, reversed the swap back to where we started!
Thank you very much for this and all the other plugins you have developed - the support you give is invaluable.

The clue that the Plugin has done something is that Edit > Undo Plugin Updates is an available option.
