20,000 and still going strong!

For those that have not already noticed, Mike (Tatewise) has just made his 20,000th post on this forum and shows no signs of easing up. If you add his contributions to the Mailing List, the writing of the Plugins and the articles in the Knowledgebase he must have produced more than the complete works of Shakespeare.

Thank you, Mike, for all you do to help fellow FH Users and I am looking forward to the next 20,000 posts!

Brian

If only they were the complete works of Shakespeare?
I'd have made a fortune and not need to contemplate another 20,000

To Mike and Jane and all the contributors to this Forum, may I add my heartfelt thanks. I check this site every day and am forever picking up snippets of information.
In the current global circumstances it cannot be easy to return to this Forum day after day to answer the questions of members and possibly ignore your own worries.
I live in Australia where we - to a large extent - are clear of COVID, basically due to distance, isolation and quarantine regulations.
Where we see few local occurrences a day in the country, you contributors in the UK , US or Europe are experiencing unimaginable numbers.
I have relatives in England and the US and when we see the numbers reported every day it is of great concern.
I can only hope that the Vaccines being rolled out will work to the cure the problem.
Look after yourselves as best you can. Remember the Mask!

Thank you indeed. Without you Mike, three years ago I would have failed yet again to get to grips with and use fh.
I am forever grateful too for your Query tuition and the small gifts like a family view to replicate TMG.

But it isnt good if you start to feel this forum as an obligation.
Please look after yourself as well as you look after us. Take care if you are leaving the house (we are not) and I hope you get your vaccine soon.

Congrats to you Mike on the milestone!

About 5 years ago, as a longtime LFT (LegacyFamiltyTree) user exporting to a TNG (The Next Generation) website, I was looking around for a new approach in PC-based genealogy software and decided on FH. I was impressed with it, but now needed to export to TNG from FH 6.0. Mike had an Export Gedcom plugin which I needed help getting it to match what I had been exporting from LFT to TNG. He helped every step of the way. In fact, I still was using LFT, and he helped tweak the plugin to now export to LFT from FH as well.

Mike was the key to making the export procedure work, and has done so again with FH 7.0 export.

Kudos and many thanks!

Like all the notes from others, I extend my thanks to Mike for his patience and in depth answers to the questions posed to him. Thankfully, mine are usually not that technically oriented but for those who need answers to those types of questions, I'm sure they are REALLY grateful. Thanks also to Jane and the other contributors for their suggestions.
Sad to say but I'm going to put in a question now re Version 7. Hope there is a simple answer to it!!

Mike,

You have helped me many times over the years and I really appreciate it.

The help you have given everyone and all the work you do writing plugins and in the Knowledge Base are very much appreciated as well.

Thanks!
Bill

It puzzles me on how he manages to find the time to do all this.
Obviously no one can do without him.
Look farward to the next 20,000

Congratulations Mike! And to all of the other experts that post regularly in here that are nowhere near the 20000 mark.

Maybe the forum needs a new tag - Gigastar?
